Would love to rate 11 out of 10 if I could. Wonderful hotel in a central location. The place is pretty new, super clean and very well looked after. Fantastic food and coffee. All of the staff was very kind, helpful and made me feel welcome throughout the stay. Special shout out to Rudra and Yadap for your outstanding hospitality. Hope to be back one day

I spent 5 days at the Magnificent Hotel and am very grateful to all the employees for their hospitality and kindness))) I really liked that it was a quiet and cozy place in a convenient location, not far from Durbar Square. The hotel employees helped me with various issues: order a taxi, choose an interesting place to walk, send a postcard, I am very grateful to them for this. There were also delicious and varied breakfasts, I also ordered dinners, it was great)) I highly recommend this hotel and will be happy to return one day☺️

Absolute perfection! Professional and warm service where you feel right at home. From the moment you book the hotel, the staff are extremely responsive and make every effort to ensure you arrive safe and enjoy your stay. We stayed 2 times at this hotel pre and post our 2 week trek. The room was super with all the listed facilities in working and clean order. The breakfast is delicious and the coffee is divine !! We had a very early flight to Lukla and the staff even made us a packed breakfast so we didn’t leave for our trip hungry. On returning to the hotel we had a delay with our flight by 1 day, and the hotel was super accommodating and ensured our room was kept for us and even made us food when we arrived after a very long journey back to Kathmandu. The rooftop is beautiful and a lovely way to spend your evenings - the restaurant make amazing Nepalese and western food. You don’t need to even leave the hotel really everything is there and they take so very good care of you. My only choice to stay in Kathmandu! They also offer spa and trekking/ sightseeing services which I’d love to try next time. Thank you dear Everest boutique hotel!

I booked for 1 night but stayed another night. Extremely value for money. Rajz the manager is very responsive on WhatsApp and very friendly person. If you’re coming from international flight, hotel pickup is complementary. For domestic flights it’s 1000 NPR. I change my USD at the hotel. They gave a higher rate compared to the airport or outside. Pawan the receptionist has been very helpful too. Genuine people. They don’t make you pay extra. Even they mentioned number of times that there will be 4% additional charge if you pay by card. For me it was okay. Madav picked me up from the airport. One of the smoothest pickups I had. Next day I booked the city tour for $60. Had Madav and the suv for the day. Visited 6 UNESCO sites in Kathmandu including Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Room was very clean. All the amnesties were there including a kettle, water bottles, dustbin, soap, shampoo, and towels. Heater was working perfectly and hot water is also available. Pretty good breakfast too. One of the best deals I had so far.

We requested early check-in as our bus from Pokhara reached Thamel at 5:00 AM, and they agreed. Breakfast including service was great as we were in a rush on our last morning in Kathmandu. Overall, it was great service & the staff behaviour was very friendly. Enjoyed our stay there.

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Some part of loads were not paved so sometimes like rush hour the air becomes so dusty due to so many cars and buses. Some restaurants would charge some extra fee if you offer to pay by credit card. cash would be better in a local restaurant.

My visit to Nepal was full of beautiful surprises,...

My visit to Nepal was full of beautiful surprises, incredible vistas, and lovely warm people. I would recommend a trip to Nepal to anyone with a keen sense of adventure and anyone wanting a serious change from the Norm. From Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp to Chitwan National Park and finally Pokara you can't ask for a better adventure. I definitely be returning here.

On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen...

On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.

You have to say No!

You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.

This is a return trip after a tour was cur short. We love this hotel and their staff. A special thank you to Khushbu, Ronish, Manoj, Samjhana & Rupesh. Sorry if I have your names wrong. Always great hospitality and welcoming. Our room is so beautiful, views across Kathmandu, really large and clean. We met some friends and love how central this hotel is to all of the best of Thamel including the art gallery and best shops. We will return one more time before leaving for home.

This hotel is less than six months old, rooms are spacious and clean, with super comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious! I can’t wait to see the team develop the hotel with the rooftop and plans for the lobby. Stay here if you want an honest, trustworthy and wholesome place to rest with family style management. Bishal and Binit, made my first week in Thamel an unforgettable experience. I will be back! Also they know the best momo place to visit.

The owner or manager explains which tours you can do with them in Nepal. We did a trekking tour with Santosh who accompanied us from Kathmandu and the whole trekking; recommend to go with Santosh. The hotel itself is in Thamel and in a quiet street without motos and cars. It has a small garden Room is cheap but facilities according to the low price.

It’s a very nice and clean room and you feel like you’re in a 5 star hotel. Srijana let me eat with her family 3 times a day if I wanted to. She is just the best host. You can come as a couple or alone or as a family. It’s cozy and cute and you will definitely feel at home.
