I can wholeheartedly recommend Cherry Garden. The location is perfect—right by the lakeside and yet slightly away from the traffic. It's peaceful. Beautiful, well-equipped rooms and super friendly staff. The host is very helpful and gave me many useful tips for my trek. So, the next time I'm by the lakeside, I will definitely stay at Cherry Garden again. Thank you!

An absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome — the host is truly kind and always ready to help with great local tips. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The view from our room was breathtaking — waking up to the lake was just magical. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the lake and plenty of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

I loved everything about my stay in Urban Boutique Hotel. This new, modern, spotless hotel has the best view of lake Fewa in Pokhara. Its located on the nicer end of the town. The rooms are spacious and beautifully maintained, great bathrooms with excellent shower. Very comfortable beds. Modern TV /Internet connection. Aircon Large balconies overlooking the lake. But last and not least the staff are super professional and very kind and lovely. I stayed here in this hotel for over a month because it was simply perfect in every way.

Really felt a part of this beautiful family. Everyone was so lovely and helpful we really loved cooking and farming with arma she was so cute. Anup was also so helpful as he took us out on walks to two great waterfalls to swim in and offered us so much interesting knowledge about the local community. Really great experience.

The staff were incredibly nice and very helpful with any questions we had about what to do in the city. They organized any trips we wished and were able to recommend alot of great activities. The hotel itself is located very close to the lake so its great to be able to take a short walk to.

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to...

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to hilltop temples and do some kayaking on the lake. The south side of the lake is much quieter and pleasant walking in the shade of the trees. I was shocked at the amount of litter on the lakeside path by Pokhara. It’s no worse than anywhere else in Nepal but seemed such a shame at an attractive holiday place next to a watercourse. I wish I had taken a bag and collected litter for half hour a day, odd as it would have looked.

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour steep climb rewarded with great views. Recommend Camelia Cafe for gentle relaxing vibe, good food and great service. Boomerang cafe has lovely garden seating with views of the lake, and Nepali traditional dancing at night. Try to get to a sunrise viewpoint about 30 mins taxi ride above the city.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside. A great place to prepare for or relax from a trek. Wonderful contrast to Kathmandu. Roadhouse Pizza is incredible and there is a Spanish restaurant at the Disneyland (really) end of Lakeside that does simply wonderful food.

Pokhara is also an English speaking location. there were many cafes, accommodations, and night clubs amidst the souvenirs shops. and i must say, the local are genuinely so friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. this place has lots of potential as a tourist spot to relax and perhaps grow into a yoga hub.

I find Pokhara to be one of the best places for a vacation.

I find Pokhara to be one of the best places for a vacation. The city offers a wide range of accommodations—from budget lodges and mid-range hotels to luxurious five-star resorts. Its scenic beauty, cleanliness, diverse and delicious food options, welcoming culture, and strong sense of safety make it truly special. There are plenty of vacation activities to enjoy, and the surrounding hills offer excellent opportunities for both short and long hikes. Pokhara is perhaps one of the few cities where you can take in the stunning views of serene lakes, lush green hills, and majestic snow-clad mountains—all standing right before you. I come here often for my holidays, and each time leaves me wanting more. I love returning again and again.

Everything! Lakeside is just few minutes of walking, grocery stores and restaurants are near by. Payment option is very convenient, by card which is rare in Nepal except in big hotels maybe. Hot water is so wonderful 24/7! And, lastly Buddhi is an excellent guide for trekking with a lot, I mean a lot of patience for someone like me (very slow). The best package for accommodations and for experiences.

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Pokhara’s tourist district. Very welcoming, friendly staff with great English. The hotel is well presented and the room large and tidy with a comfortable bed, large balcony facing the lake and good shower. The buffet breakfast had a good range of Nepalese and western cuisine. Will definitely come back!

The hotel is super cute and the higher rooms have a great sea view! Staff is friendly and helpful with everything. We really loved walking up with the view of the lake. The room was clean for Nepali standards :). I would definitely stay here again. For this price it is great.

This place was clean! Really clean! It is the first clean place I've stayed in Nepal and it's worth staying here just for that. It's also in an excellent location by Lakeside and the staff are lovely and very helpful!
