Helen is a wonderful, welcoming host. The house is in a good location near Arthur's Pass and makes a great stop if you're driving cross country. We opted to include the dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The common area and bathroom is shared with another room/visitors and we were lucky to have very enjoyable company so it felt like reliving the old hostel days as an adult 😀

The location was great. The cabin was well set up and very nice. Very clean, great shower, kitchen well set up. Staff where friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but will come back for an extended stay in the future.

Super cosy and quiet place in mountains surrounded forest. House is amazing with all you need, nice fully kitchen, panoramic windows with mountains views, very clean toilets and bathrooms. Location perfect. Superb communal kitchen, spacious and clean with everything you needed. Great big communal fridge and freezer - excellent! Bed was comfortable. I travelled alone and space in room was adequate. Showers were clean and plenty of hot water.

Very well maintained and cozy room. Tash was an excellent host. One of our best stay if not the best in overall in New Zealand. Wonderful location, very clean and modern room. Kitchen is perfectly equiped for every kind of operation.
