We liked everything Matakauri had to offer. The staff were more like friends and treated us like family. Sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace enjoying the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. AND the food was fabulous!!

Everything is precisely thought and the service is one of the best i have ever seen. The room is amazing and huge, with a lot of top tier details. The complimentary amenities at the room and the afternoon drinks and canapes is the icing on the cake. i also loved the indian-african restaurant from the hotel. The location is the best in town.

The location just outside Queenstown was Ideal as easy 6 minute walk. The hotel to the staff were excellent A small happy hour was good with small nibbles and drinks. Breakfast good but small
