Michelle and Bill will give you a warm Welcome and make you feel like home. A lovely place just outside of Duntroon to relax. Michelle and Bill were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed including hanging our wet clothes in the laundry dryer. Loved the chats we had and all the stories they can tell you from their travels around the world. Quite sad that we had to leave the next morning but Michelle made sure that we had enough energy for the day with the delicious warm breakfast she made for us. Love to come back

A friendly, welcoming and relaxing place to stay. The accommodation had everything you needed, and more. Duntroon is a lovely little place to visit. Gillian and Michael are so helpful and friendly. We would definitely return in the future if we are in the area.

This is absolutely awesome! Sleeping in the dome and getting a panoramic view of the mountains in the morning is out of this world. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the facilities are amazing. You get your private hot tub, a BBQ area, a wood fired sauna, and more. It's 2 minutes down to Maerewhenua River full of trout, where you can swim in the refreshing water.

An absolutely incredible little gem we stumbled upon nestled in amongst the mountains. The owners were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond. Clean and cosy, fully serviced shared facilities available, and unbeatable views. Absolutely above value for the very reasonable price. Would give 12 stars if I could. It has that nostalgic old school charm that anyone looking to escape the modern pace will appreciate. We struggled to leave.

Everything, right down to the chickens and ducks! Our hosts John and Linda were absolutely delightful and provided our group with a very comfortable home for the night. The added bonus was a delicious hot breakfast and some history of the homestead. Thank you both for an absolutely stellar stay ⭐️

A very unique experience to stay in a homestead so rich in history which Cathy and Mark shared enthusiastically. Their commitment to restoration and maintenance both inside and out deserves high commendation and the dining room in particular is spectacular. Cosy and comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Later in the day I met the former owner who added to the story, demonstrating what a great commitment there is to heritage preservation in the area. Property was a bit challenging to find, roads steep and winding in parts but added to the adventure and tea at nearby pub also well worth it.
