Exceptionally warm and personal welcome. Andrea our host was such a sweet and charming lady. We were immediately made to feel at home. The pool area is gorgeous and the view magnificent. The cottage itself is cosy and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the crisp white bed linen, soft towels and there were also fluffy robes for guest use. Everything was immaculately clean.

The cottage is very cosy and situated in a very peaceful quiet spot. We enjoyed the view and watching the birds in the big tree outside. It is very private, but we also had the opportunity to chat with the very friendly and helpful owner, who even shared her homegrown bananas with us. We'd happily come again.

Neville and Donna are so nice hosts helping you with everything you need. The little apartment is spotless clean and has everything you need (shampoo, body lotion, hairdryer, even cosmetic products! and more). The bed was super comfy and the TV with Netflix a great plus. The kitchenette is well equipped - you can cook a meal if you want. There was everything that you can hope for breakfast (bread, spreads, nespresso machine, Granola, Yoghurt, milk etc). All in all a wonderful accommodation :)

We absolutely loved the place it had a really homely feel to it and wasn't hard to find anything, there wasn't enough time to enjoy the whole place as we had things to do whilst we were there, and didnt get to go kayaking but am definitely going to do this again in the next month or two. The host was really cooperative in guiding us to the house as we couldn't see properly due to arriving really late and was very nice. 5 stars for our stay

Everything was ideal.

Everything was ideal. We were attending the Young Mariners of New Zealand National Regatta. Because we are older it was perfect to stay in a comfortable place only 4 minutes from all the activities and not to have to sleep in a tent.

Peaceful environment, looking out over the Bay, being able to Kayak (although do take your own lifejackets with you if you want to use these) Within walking distance of the Parua Bay Tavern (who did a beautiful meal)

Parua Bay has a good array of shops - cafe, 4 Square, liquor...

Parua Bay has a good array of shops - cafe, 4 Square, liquor store, Indian Restaurant, bakery. It has a GAS fuel station. Very popular in the Summer time. Beaches nearby Parua Pub nearby Whangarei Heads not far - playgrounds.
