Stunning scenery! Great places to eat out!

Stunning scenery! Great places to eat out! Gondola views incredible! I'd recommend doing the Miller Road 'make your own perfume' opportunity. Perfect on a wet day! Ayrburn Winery and gardens are an absolute must! Great eateries there also. So many things to do outdoors! A trip to Glenorchy is very special!

There is a lot to do in Queenstown.

There is a lot to do in Queenstown. A new hot pool just opened called Bathe by Aluume. It has a carpark right opposite it at the base of the gondola. Private warm tub in the open air surrounded by trees - very nice. You can have a game of mini-golf right next door. Cookie Time has a 2 for 1 deal every evening, recommend the Earnslaw or catamaran to Walter Peak Station - the buffet is outstanding. Gondola and luge are good and a walk up Queenstown Hill for free. Just walking around the lake at leisure is good. So is a walk in Queenstown Gardens. (Free). And try the dulche de leche icecream at Patagonia. If you want healthy cafe food during the day (they close around 3pm) go to Vudu. Fabulous!

Queenstown is an amazing town with do much to do.

Queenstown is an amazing town with do much to do. All the restaurants are great but the Mexican - Baja - and Madame Fergs are super yummy. The Earnslaw steam boat is a nice day out. The wine tour to three wineries is great as is the beautiful gardens - good walking spaces. The gondola isa greatly to see the city. You can walk to most places in Queenstown.

Possibly a bit too 'touristy' for my liking, but I knew that would be the case. There's plenty to do here, and the iSite visitor center is a great place to start if you're unsure (including how to get around on buses if that's what you want to do).

A very busy place & back to pre-Covid levels now I would say. Restaurant prices & options are very reasonable though. A great place I feel for young adventurers who are not too concerned about the accommodation facilities.

Liked- Very central hotel with comfy beds. Price is good for Queenstown. Easy check in. Kitchen and laundry facilities. Disliked- zero storage space or facilities in the room, not even a hook to hang a coat. Not sure I was aware our room had no windows when I booked. If sharing the double bed one person has to crawl over the other to get in and out. Pretty cramped, guess you get what you pay for.

Cheapest accommodation within walking distance to Queenstown Airport which is why we booked it. It was located on the main road, but was at the back of the house so it was quiet. It was raining and miserable when we arrived on foot with full waterproof gear and the host was super helpful and dried our wet shoes in his dryer. The supplied heating did a great job of warming the place up.

Car parking was free. I wish I hadn't let this guide my choice of accommodation as there are similar priced budget hotels closer to the centre of Queenstown but didn't go with them because of the parking. The room was clean when we arrived. Within walking distance of the centre of Queenstown .

This hotel is in a central location which is really useful. It is right next to the Holiday Inn Express where there is a bus stop so it's easy to get around Queenstown using public transport or to catch a bus to the snow fields.
