I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay at kotare cabin.

I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay at kotare cabin. Nestled amongst the birds and native trees with an outstanding view of the beach, the cottage breathed relaxation. A perfect spot to refresh and recharge, I thoroughly enjoyed bathing in the outdoor tub and indulged my sense with the delightful array of soaps, salts and lotions. I felt the cabin had a wonderful private and secluded feel even with the town just below. The drive across the bridge/ford and into the tranquil area where kotare cabin sat made it feel like a real adventure into the natural New Zealand wilderness then emerged to the exposed beach views which extended from the front deck of the cabin. Walking into the cabin the sweet and refreshing smell of the natural exposed wood completed the masterpiece. From the lovely stained glass window, the incredible views, great facilities, to the relaxing tub outside, everything about kotare cabin filled my senses so pleasantly. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay

Lovely sleepy area, lots of natural sites and experiences in a walkable distance. Right in the middle of Thames and Coromandel townships so a great base for exploring. If you are a confident driver, the Tapu Coroglen Rd takes you to the totally different beaches and experiences on the other side.

We loved the view out the living room and main bedroom windows. Very comfortable with good amenities. Lovely beach and appreciated the sense of history displayed in photos. Just what we needed and would recommend.

    Liked everything.

Liked everything. The hosts were kind to give us a bowl full of home grown Sweet Figs. They were delicious. Great Place to stay - beautiful sunset views and full moon views. Not very crowded yet not far from the amenities.

Attended a Wedding at Tapu and didn't want to stay at the holiday park so Kiwi Cabins was the go. Great place to lay ur head down, comfy bed, clean facilities, could park my car outside our back sliding door and great views of the hill. Was a shared bathroom but felt like an ensuite. Walks were stunning and the people friendly, great pub Next door.

Great location for us fisher people. 10 minutes drive to boat ramp, one house from The Royal Oak Hotel at Tapu that has excellent meals for dine in or takeaways. Very quiet and spotlessly clean unit.
