Beautiful surroundings and garden, our room was facing the garden and it was elegant and stylish, with a very comfortable bed. We liked the atmosphere and the person at the reception was friendly and welcoming. It’s only a few minutes from the township but removed from any noise and extremely peaceful and serene.

Excellent standard, this place is like a hotel not a lodge (at least our room was). Great value for not much money - actually it was our best and cheapest stay during two weeks in New Zealand. Very nice kitchen with a free coffee from a coffee machine, free popcorn, free welcome scone:-) Nice personnel. Clean bathroom with cosmetics provided. Even a hot tub included:-) Generally wonderful.
