Beautiful terrace with a amazing view, where you can sit all day. Tea and coffee available. Great rooms in local style. Great host who welcomed us and showed us the way to the viewpoint and advised other places. Excellent buffet for dinner and great breakfast. Wide choice and very tasty. Everything was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay very much. We recommend to everyone ☺️

This place ticked all the boxes for a great family getaway. The location was perfect, offering a stunning view that we never got tired of. Fast and stable internet made staying connected easy, and the generous breakfast spread was a real treat every morning. The host was friendly and welcoming, and the master bedroom had wonderfully comfortable beds. The kids absolutely loved the playroom, and the pool was a hit with the whole family. Small tip for the host: adding a floor squeegee in the bathroom would help keep the floor dry. Other than that, everything was spot on!

Great location! The building is old but it was completely renovated and the room was comfy, well decorated and well-equipped. The breakfast was very tasty. We really enjoyed our stay in this place. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a perfect base to explore Jebel Shams and to enjoy the stunning scenery and views overlooking nearby Misfat Al Abriyyin. We stayed for 2 nights and could have easily stayed longer ... the host is a wonderfully kind person, extremely helpful and generous in sharing his time and knowledge of the local area. I would definitely return and recommend this for couples, singles and families ... and definitely recommend the walk through the oasis farm area!

We knew what to expect and enjoyed our time there. The place is very special and a good treat. Book in advance and make sure the room has all luxuries included. There is lots to see in Misfah if you are fit enough to hike the surroundings

Walking down the stairs hearing the birds singing and the bubbling of water in the falaj [canal] I knew something special is coming....... I woke up every morning with the jubilant songs of birds... The Omani coffee, Omani omelette and Lemon drink with ginger & honey was my favorites on the menu! Many hidden corners to read a book or just relax. I truly feel I was in heaven this weekend!

Misfah is a very interesting old village that is not easy to...

Misfah is a very interesting old village that is not easy to acess as it is built at the side of teh hill and only explorable on foot with a lot of stair climbing. It is worth it though. It is such a beautiful Oasis and it is preserved by its inhabitants. The history and the architecture is a site to see

This is a great place if you are a hiker and loves walking.

This is a great place if you are a hiker and loves walking. The trails had lots of steps and some were very steep others absolutely flat. I felt that if you have good endurance then the walk would be very enjoyable. But, beware, if your lungs are not strong enough you will be soon out of breath. Lots of adventurous things to do, cycling, rock climbing etc., but, planning ahead would be helpful. It is very easy to move around Misfah, however not many restaurants around until you reach the city limits. It was slightly hot, as we went in May, but winter times it would be great place for trekking, walking and other outdoor activities.

Very beautifull hotel and room.

Very beautifull hotel and room. We only stayed one night, but wished we booked for 2 nights. We did a beautiful hike starting close to the hotel. So you could definitly stay 2 nights if you like hiking! Parking is free around the hotels. We put our luggage in a small bag, so we did not have to take it up the stairs (no elevator). We ate at the hotel. No restaurants nearby. But the hotel offers a great view from the eating area!

Ayub, the only staff member, was very helpul.

Ayub, the only staff member, was very helpul. However, the hotel has many problems, including the broken swimming pool with walls covered in mould, missing basic furniture in the rooms, dirty bathroom, plumbing problems, poor breakfast. In summary, quite expensive accommodation for the facilities offered.
