Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. Suliman helped us when we struggled with unexpected problem with our car rental, prepared a detailed plan of our sightseeing, reccomended us great restaurants and was very protective even after we left. Everything was superb. Ahmed is a friendly and hospitable host, always available to help with anything. Rooms were big, clean and smelled fresh. Location is great for trips, cheap eateries and supermarkets within a short drive. Fully equipped (incl oil, salt, tea and coffee) shared kitched.

This place is a little gem, a lucky last minute find. The location is wonderful, right amongst the palms with a beautiful outlook and only a few minutes walk through to the old village. In addition to nicely appointed bedroom and bathroom for a very affordable price, there are several outdoor lounging areas with elevated views over the fields. Hamza was a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and offered a traditionally cooked meal during my stay. I was sorry to only stay one night as it was very peaceful and relaxing, it would have been nice to stay longer.

Everything was perfect. From the beautiful house itself and the delicious food (both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, made at home or by local cooks, out of local products, easily one of the best, if not the best, I had in Oman), through small details like the smell of incense all around the guesthouse, elegant design choices, and the high quality soap (available to buy downstairs!), to the host herself and the ambience she creates for this place. I loved her idea to have shared dinners and breakfasts, with her and/or other travelers. It is a wonderful way to exchange stories and experiences while building a small community of Bait Al Aali people. Emina knows a lot about the region, has interesting stories to tell, a big heart for animals and is conscious about sustainable development of tourism. The area is magical and quiet, with a palm plantation just outside, where you can stroll for hours and relax. The room was spacious, with a lot of light, a big, comfortable bed and a private, very clean and modern bathroom. Everything is freshly renovated, the terrace has an incredible view of the area, and Emina makes sure that the place feels like home you want to return to. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!
