Nice hotel. I liked authentic interior. There were no questions about 5yo child during checkin and they gave extra bed. Good breakfast. Price/quality is definitely good. I can recommend it for auto trips for sure.

My room was spacious and comfortable. My room was on the top floor. I was sharing the kitchen, balcony and the living room with two other rooms, but it was still comfortable. The sea facing views are amazing.

Sur was a nice surprise.

Sur was a nice surprise. We were planning on going to the sea turtles reserve in Ras Al Jinz, but it was not the season, so we ended up in Sur instead. Thea beach is very nice as well as the souq. We had nice breakfast at Sahari Restaurant and hiked up to the tower next to it to see the views over the town. We visited the light house and the dhow factory.

Excellent location.

Excellent location. But I would suggest that you allocate a separate place away from the hotel rooms for the scrap items as otherwise it invites snakes and scorpions to the rooms. Also recommend a Table Fan at the food lobby.

It a quiet port town. It a beautiful little white town. However, compared to the world's famous tourist destinations, it will be a little inferior. But if you travel in Oman, it would be a good candidate.

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see...

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see turtles laying eggs. Walk from the resort to the nesting beach is around 1.5 km wear comfortable shoes. Nothing else to do except turtle watch. Avoid the turtle museum on second floor it's not at all maintained and charges 2 RO ( 5 USD) not worth. Book tents they are good and gives you a camping feeling with comfort of a room.

Small town - not a huge amount to do here, we went for a walk along the beach, looked at the lighthouse, and ate at Zaki restaurant (try the butter chicken). We mainly stayed there to break up the journey between the Bimmah Sinkhole (beautiful and definitely worth a visit!), and Wahiba sands. Wouldn't stay here for longer than one night!

Located in a tiny coastal village 20mins away from Bimma sinkhole, you can watch the sunset and sunrise from your room / the balcony. I wish I had arrived earlier to explore the village (I only stayed one night). There is a lovely Omani Heritage Restaurant across the road. The owner or employee of the guesthouse replied quickly to messages and offered to give directions to the hotel which is at the outskirts of town. My room was large with a fridge and all kinds of amenities, so I think it is comfy for a longer stay.

Very spacious room, nice and friendly staff. Clean and modern hotel. Good location, very close to a small beach where we spent a day swimming and sunbathing, local fishermen came back with their small boats full of fish and it is located at about 5 minutes walk from the Turtle Reserve Visitor Centre. We liked the small coffee shop located next to the grocery store, we had local Omani breakfast and dinner there.

Solid budget hotel in a good location in Sur, with ample parking space and walking distance to the Souq, corniche and lighthouse. The room was big, quiet and clean. Simple furnished but very comfortable. The reception staff were very nice!
