I love Boracay — this is my fourth visit and my second this year. My first two visits were before the rehabilitation, and I’m happy to see the positive changes. It made me fall in love with Boracay even more. I didn’t do many water activities this year — just tried paraw sailing. Nice beaches and i will really miss the wonderful pizza from 'Ari Italiana Cucina' at D Mall. I did not like being constantly approched and offered massages. Also, it was diffivult to browse the stalls at D Mall because the vendors all want me to buy from their stalls. It is very crowded and no activities apart from scuba, sailing and helicopter. Restaurants were comparatively expensive to other Asians countries I have visited. I would not recommend Boracay as a holiday vacation destination. Getting to the Island is very 3rd world. Transport from the airport to the departure place was chaotic and one had to board the boats to the island carrying ones own luggage. Ok for backpackers I guess but not for older people like me. Location is great as it is near to almost everything but most facilities are old and worn out. There is no view from the room as when I opened the window it is already a wall of the other building. Management may need to check facilities and train staff. If this property is being managed properly it can generate lots of money as location is excellent.Guest review byAnonymous
