    There are tons of great parts of Cebu.

    There are tons of great parts of Cebu. Lapu Lapu / Mactan is one of many. So much to do, at all levels. Whether you're all high-end, seek to be one of the locals, or want a taste of everything, Lapu Lapu City has you covered. Beaches (of course), city/town life, great food options all around you, great activities for fun & activities, and easy to get around. Not to mention, greater Cebu City is just a stone's throw away.

    City was noisy but very vibrant and friendly, met lots of very good people, no shortage of things to do and close enough to Cebu city to visit popular tourist attractions while staying somewhat clear of the hustle and bustle of the big city.

    I love the phillipines been married to my fillipina wife for...

    I love the phillipines been married to my fillipina wife for 15 years now! But in my honest opinion I prefer the province over the city. The city is too crowded, busy bad traffic and a lot people wanting more money and overcharging for everything especially if they see a foreigner. There is only a handful of honest hard working peope if you're lucky!! The real beauty of the phillipines in the provinces. Another tip Always ask around about tour prices In the cabs there's always someone cheaper!! And the best thing to do in cebu is canyonering at kawasan Falls it is worth it. I recommend the highland tours cebu ph, they provide an excellent canyoneering experience! Very helpful attentive and friendly.
