Nuts Huts is an hotel Lodge located in the margins of the Loboc River, deep inside the forest. Although the access may not be very easy (to get there you will go through 800 meters of difficult rocky road) it is totally worth it. The scenery is idyllic, you’ll be staying in a cabin surrounded by nature and wildlife. The hotel is located only 15 minutes away from Loboc and 45 minutes from Chocolate Hills (by car). Reception/kitchen staff were always kind and helpful. Food was good, rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. An incredible stay, close to many main attractions in Bohol. Definitely recommended and we hope to come back one day.

The resort was so beautiful and there was gorgeous vegetation all around us. The pool , restaurant, and staff were amazing! The staff remembered our names and made us feel right at home. The kayaking and firefly tours were highlights!

The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable, bathroom was shared but always clean. They have free coffee/water refills and good working AC. There is not much in terms of food around the area so we ate here too for breakfast and dinner which was amazing - really tasty and good value for money. The family running the homestay are all so friendly, they let us rent a moped for the day and helped us sort our itinerary during our stay. I would say it’s a perfect location to stay for a couple days to explore the countryside of Bohol. Their dog Loki was also adorable!!

Antonio Homestay is like a home away from home, it has all the amenities you need - hot & cold shower with good pressure, comfy bed, quiet air con, slippers, blanket & wash kit. The staff are very kind, when we arrived (Holy Saturday) dinner wasn’t available at the property so they drove us to the nearest restaurant & picked us up after our meal. They also drop us off at the jeepney terminal at the end of our stay. As well as organising a scooter rental & firefly tour. The location is very good - close to the Loboc river, having a scooter is recommended to reach restaurants & activities (tarsiers, chocolate hills & river activities)

Absolutely loved it..the out door bathroom really was unique. Staff were very nice and thank god no barking dogs all night at this location. I was a dog lover before I came to Philippines..but now no ! There needs to be a dog cull.

This, by far, was my favourite place to stay during our two week holiday. I loved the bamboo accommodation and being so close to the river. We went on a wonderful boat ride at night. It was so dark, but the sky was lit with a million stars. Along the river bank, only the outlines of different trees and shrubs could be seen, while fireflies danced on a few of the treetops. An enchanted place♥️

We had planned to do river trips but instead just did our own paddling on the river. The river isnt particularly special and it seems there are limitations to the trips (e.g. frequently you cant swim at the falls). It does have a strong current so be careful when in the water. The hotel provides a guide in case of difficulty. BTW: The Tarsier "sanctuary" was a massive disappointment. Just a photo op. Chocolate Hills platform gives a lovely view, but an hour is enough. We did these on the way to the hotel, so saved a day trip.

Loboc is a beautiful place to stay because most of the well known attractions like Chocolate Hills, Loboc River Cruises, and the famous Tarsiers are all so close to Loboc. If you intend to see those places, Loboc is the best one!

Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Restaurant was top notch with lot's of delicious dishes to choose from. Location is a must if you want to see Loboc river, Chocolate hills, and tarsier sanctuaries. The hotel itself is nestled between the river and surrounding forest. We really enjoyed the hotel massages and how immersed in nature the hotel is, having monkeys and a meditation wellness space available for use. We also enjoyed using the paddles and kayaking the river with the equipment the hotel provides.

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch...

Great dining experience - we had a dinner/breakfast/lunch and they are good with reasonable price. We also tried "fireflies tour" at 6:30pm and kayaking at 9am next day, the experience was great too. The rooms are OK. Given the rooms are built on top of swamp, you cannot compare them with rooms in the city.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Everything was just amazing. The room has everything you need: bed, shower, toilet, sink, AC, table, dustbin. The AC is really quiet and makes it‘s job. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view. The stuff were really nice and helped with everything: taxi, tours, what you can do, laundry, renting motorbike. Everything was just uncomplicated. The location is beautiful, it‘s really close to the Loboc river (around 5min walking). The wifi was really good too.

Recently spent 5 nights here. We had the most amazing stay...definately our zen place...the quaint comfortable rooms with gorgeous outdoor shower, the location on the beautiful green Loboc River, and of course the amazing restaurant! Food was excellent!!! Staff were beyond exceptional!!!! Great, friendly service in all areas! Ate here for full 5 days and loved everything!!!! SUP tour on river was wonderful too!! Would highly recommend !!!

Stayed there for a few days, it felt like a movie. The scenery is unreal, the room is a wooden house in the forest on the shore of the loboc river. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, and the hostel propose activities to enrich your stay (hikes with guides, spa, massage, night cruise on the river...). Really good food and breakfast.
