A very special accommodation, alone on an island, to enjoy a little adventure far away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido. The hosts are very friendly and the food was really sensational at all times of the day. Highly recommended! :)

Remote location, private beach, amazing staff Gerard really helped me a lot by giving me lifts to the tours as I cannot drive (organised by hotel) or surfing I wanted to do (extra cost for the transport). The owners Gary and Eden were very welcoming and it felt like coming back to a home away from home. Food portions were perfect and enough of a variety of options despite being in a remote location. Gina and the other staff were very helpful always able to assist when needed :)

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The sweetest employees, amazing food, the pod we stayed in was fantastic! No wifi and internet on that side of the island, which was soooo nice with a digital detox in beautiful surroundings! They offered at lot of nice wellness activities. We tried yoga, learned Thai massage and got Filippinese massage which all were really good.

Dos Playas has it all. A privileged location, owners who are passionate about this project, and a very attentive and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the cabins with a private bathroom and fan. The cabin’s design is fantastic, both aesthetically and functionally. Even though it’s still a work in progress, I can say that every detail for your comfort has been carefully thought out. There’s a rack to hang your clothes, a small shelf unit with multiple levels for your things, and bedside tables. The bed is super comfortable and comes with a mosquito net. The “door” has a large zipper that makes it easy to open and close. This is not a place for those seeking luxury. It’s a place to disconnect from the world for a few days and enjoy nature. The food they offer is quite varied. You get between 7 and 9 different meal options that change every day and with each meal. The dishes are fresh, delicious, and generous in portion! Prices are fair. They take care of the beach and make sure it’s clean. There’s internet in the common area through Starlink. They coordinated all our transfers from El Nido and responded to our messages almost instantly. Also, Nika is an amazing dog. She loves playing on the beach and keeping you company, but she’ll never invade your space. I saw some reviews complaining about mosquitoes. It’s absurd to complain about that — you’re in nature. Another review mentioned the limited variety of food for families with children. This is NOT a place to go with kids; it’s perfect for couples who want to relax. Our congratulations to Rose and William (even though we didn’t get to meet him) for the amazing work, for what they’ve built so far, and I wish them all the best as they continue to develop this wonderful project.
