Really good location with an amazing view from both the room and the restaurant. Our room was clean and very comfortable, big thanks to the staff, they are all friendly and helpful especially Joshua who arranged our transport and tour. Everything went smoothly. A great base for exploring Banaue. I definitely recommend staying here.

This is Banaue's original backpackers favourite. It has been around for decades, and I stayed here about 30 years ago. The place is still going strong and still run by the same woman. They have kept up with times, and improved a lot, even extended the balcony restaurant which is overlooking the rice terraces. It's a 'one stop shop' with a convenience store, souvenir shop, Guesthouse and restaurant all in one. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had an attached bathroom with a hot shower. Good lightning, window with a view, a fan and good airflow, so my damp clothes could finally dry up. Charging outlets in the room. Excellent WiFi. I came from Batad and there is only 1 Jeepney so I arrived early, but they gave me the room straight away. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and the view from the terrace is incredible. Smoking area as well.

The staff is very kind. The food is really good. It’s near the entrance to Batad, better if you arrive during daylight time. There are no plugs in the rooms in general in Batad but you can leave your devices charging in the common area. Warm shower. The place is clean. Great view.

Staff were amazing; welcoming and so helpful. Comfortable beds and decent bathrooms too. Was able to leave my big kit bag whilst I went on two day trek with just my small bag and also let me use a shower when I returned before my bus. Food very good and cooked fresh fir each person. Staff also made me sandwiches to go for lunch on more than one day. Amazing place to stay in Danaue.

We have stayed 2 nights in Batad Countryside and it was great! We felt at home! The view from both the restaurant and the rooftop is amazing! This is the best view you can have on Batad, because it's the highest guesthouse. Nisha, her mother Josephine and her cousin are adorable! Always nice, smiling and helpful. Breakfast was included and very good. You can also have lunch and dinner there. There are some board games if you want to play. The rooms are cosy, the common bathroom is clean, with hot water. We unfortunately didn't try, but Josephine's massages seem amazing! And very cheap (300 pesos for 30min and 500 pesos for 1 hour). One day, we didn't go out because of the strong rain but this place was the perfect place to stay to chill and enjoy the amazing view. Also, they saved our tour when our guide didn't show up, they could last minute organize a tour with one of their local guide who was great! We strongly recommend this place, thanks for everything!

Such an incredible place with passionate hosts. The location and ambience is fantastic and the rooms are so authentic and cozy with great views. I had a great time and the kindness of the owners is unbelievable (they provided early check-in and late checkout which was a blessing due to the hectic bus schedule, they cooked amazing vegan food for me and it was delicious). They also arranged local transportation and tour guide which is super needed in the area. I truly recommend to stay in Baleh Boble to experience the best of Banaue.

Definitely recommend! 😍 I had a great stay, Savta is very welcoming, nice and an amazing person. She sent someone to pick me up at 5am at the bus station, and let me check in early and check out late so I could rest. She prepared breakfast every morning, and organised tour guides and drivers for visits around the area. The house is clean, organised and comfortable. She even taught me to cook a traditional dessert! I had a very pleasant stay! Would come back for sure 💕

A special shoutout to Bambino for going above and beyond, he picked us up from the bus station, allowed us to check in early, and even suggested the scooter rental place. We had a nice welcoming stay at Frix during our bird watching visit to Mt Polis, Banaue and the rice terraces. We visited a few weeks after the typhoon and the community was very devastated by the impacts, as such Frix did not have power however they had a generator running in the morning and evening with wifi, gave us hot water to bathe and for coffee, an emergency light, extra blanket, and still served us a nice dinner one night which was better than the more expensive dinner we got in town! The family really did all they could to make our stay pleasant, we would stay here again and found the location ideal for accessing good bird watching areas. Also the parking was secure off the road which was a big plus and it was very quiet at night to sleep. Thank you Frix!
