Very nice apartment looking right to the old square of Cieszyn. The building houses some apartments, offices, a language school, and a small bar downstairs (with no noise), so it was very quiet and deserted in the weekend, which was very comfortable. Key pickup was smooth and easy, and there are even some gifts prepared for the visitors: fruits, juice and water, a little chocolate and coffee capsules (1 for each morning). The apartment was clean and very comfortable, there is a big fridge, a capsule coffee maker, plates, glasses available. The view was great from the window, and check out was also very easy, by just leaving the keys at the agreed place. A very good place to stay in Cieszyn.

Also is a good stop if you travel to Czech as from Ceski Tesin, you have a lot of Trains to Prague and Bratislava.

A historic city with a lovely old town square (currently...

A historic city with a lovely old town square (currently under some renovation), a Hapsburg era hunting palace and pleasant grounds with castle ruins. Interesting to go back and forth across the bridge to the "twin city" on the Czech side and to have easy access to restaurants and cafes on both sides. It's also an easy day trip to drive to the Wielicka Salt Mine and underground cathedral near Krakow.

Like anywhere there are all sorts of people.

Like anywhere there are all sorts of people. Some are very friendly and interesting while others are cold and lacking culture. Without the language I found it difficult to get people to show their friendlier side. The main road up to the town square has been perpetually worked on for many years.

Great location, 15min walk to the Cieszyn old town. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. There was a party downstairs in the restaurant but the music didn't bother us much as the hotel side is well soundproofed. The restaurant and garden especially looked inviting.
