The Bug River valley and meanders. A magnificent view from Castle Hill. We encourage you to explore the land of Open Shutters – Trześcianka, Narew, and other villages. Odrynki is worth a visit to see the Hermitage and monastery. We recommend the town of Mielnik – an open-pit chalk mine, with a panoramic view from Castle Hill.

A beautiful, picturesque town situated on the Bug River.

A beautiful, picturesque town situated on the Bug River. The river and surrounding area can be admired from Castle Hill. Unfortunately, the views are marred by piles of garbage scattered around the dumpsters. It's as if city services forgot to clean up the most popular tourist trail.

A city full of greenery and the nearby Bug River make it the perfect place to relax. The only downside is the almost identical menu in every restaurant. While the regional dishes are very tasty, I particularly missed the fish dishes. Other than that, no complaints.

A beautiful, well-maintained town, the old buildings enhance...

A beautiful, well-maintained town, the old buildings enhance its atmosphere. The residents are incredibly friendly. They're happy to chat with strangers on the street and share the city's history, even their own. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere. The overall peace and quiet make it a perfect place to relax. We'll be back!

The beach is still under construction, the "beachside" inn...

The beach is still under construction, the "beachside" inn is boarded up (I don't know since when), but you can actually see Castle Hill and the former German bunker up close; although the weather wasn't very favorable, the view of the river from the high right bank is very nice.

A very interesting and well-maintained city with good...

A very interesting and well-maintained city with good tourist attractions; interesting churches, a beautiful loreto in the Franciscan church, and beautiful frescoes in the Orthodox church. A great tour by electric car. It's a shame there wasn't a service on the Bug River. Good food options :)

Good, hearty food in the restaurant (and very good price/quality ratio), and they stayed open several hours longer than advertised, which was also nice. Very impressive breakfast spread (though not everything was replenished), the fried eggs were some of the best I've ever had as part of a hotel breakfast. Rooms are clean and cozy.

Comfortable Hotel, with good facilities. Ideally placed if you are travelling from Warsaw to Bialowieza. Set in a nice location, with a nice river walk directly opposite the hotel.

Nice, big hotel. The room was simple and small, but with the huge bathroom. Comfortable bed. We had a quick registration. Good breakfast. Nice parking.
