I really liked everything that was provided at the hotel. Very friendly staff from reception desk to chambermaids. Delicious breakfasts - great selection of choices for everyone. A beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. There is nothing really I could complain about. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool or saunas, but I was aware of that, and it wasn't a problem for me to use those amenities in the hotel next door.

A lovely quiet town on the river Dunajec.

A lovely quiet town on the river Dunajec. Close to good walking trails. Plenty of attractions for any kind of tourist and good dining options. Supermarkets a little far from town, not walking distance and if you do walk there, the footpath is dug up most of the way. Most are closed on Sunday.

A charming town, a convenient base for excursions, but struggling with smog – practically year-round, as many homes burn coal or wood for hot water. Despite this, the local government collects a so-called climate fee, likely illegally – because the air quality is too poor.

The city is investing in infrastructure.

The city is investing in infrastructure. It's clear this is intended to attract tourists. And that's very encouraging. We mostly traveled by bike. There are plenty of bike paths, and a Velo runs through Krościenko, but there's still a bit of a long way to go, for example, towards Sromowce.

A small, quiet town with well-developed polders along the...

A small, quiet town with well-developed polders along the Dunajec River. A charming market square. Excellent lamb. Its greatest asset is its proximity to various mountain trails. I highly recommend it! What didn't I like? For me, the restaurants closed too early, with orders being accepted until 9 p.m. Maybe it's longer during peak season, as I was there in mid-May. I highly recommend it.

Krościenko is a great base for hiking and cycling trips, the town itself is very charming, you can have lunch, ice cream, and take advantage of several attractions such as a rope park or a rafting or kayaking trip on the Dunajec River.

Nice place in a quiet location. Just a few minutes walk from the main trail to Trzy Korony Peak, Grocery Shop, and Kroscienko main square. The owner left us tea, coffee, bottled water and some sweets which was very nice. Studio flat was clean and comfortable to stay. Very good value for money.

A very welcoming host, kind and helpful. A pretty, well kept apartment. Nice views. Fairly close to the centre of Krościenko and the Dunajec river. There are bicycles to hire as well. There is a space outside in the garden for a barbecue and to chill out.
