Sopot is a green coastal town in northern Poland that will fascinate you with its beautiful parks, landscaped gardens, Art Nouveau houses and golden beaches. This famous holiday resort is home to the longest wooden pier in Europe and an old iconic lighthouse overlooking the city.

Sopot is a go-to location for Tourists in Poland and during the season I feel like it is a bit too crowded. That's why I really enjoy spending time in Sopot after the season in September/October. Weather is still nice for a walk by the beach and there are not too many people there. There is so much to see in tri-city, with local fast train network (SKM) you can go to visit Gdansk ticket cost 6,20 zl per adult and kids pay less. Sopot has great shops and boutiques - they not cheap as everyone would think, but there is great shopping centers around Gdynia - Sopot - Gdansk. Convenient location since it's only a 22 minute walk (or 11 minute bus journey) from Sopot station which can be reached from Gdańsk airport in less than 45 minutes by bus and/or train. The room had plenty of things in the cupboards like a hob, tea/coffee, and even a sandwich toaster (I didn't use any of these though). Comfortable bed.
