What a magical place! We stayed at Casa Garcia during a weekend in August. The house is run with love and respect for family heritage. Attention to the smallest details and guest comfort can be felt at every step. Casa Garcia offers incredibly comfortable and stylish interiors decorated in the finest style. Our host Fatima was wonderful and very friendly making us feel genuinely welcome. She was also very helpful with various suggestions of places to eat. The room we had was very comfortable and spacious with a large attractive bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied. We had a very relaxing stay out in the countryside.

Gorgeous property in a friendly little town, within easy reach of some lovely river beaches. Watching the sun set from the roof terrace was a highlight. Lots of room for family and friends to get together, without being on top of each other. The games room was great.

This accommodation is conveniently located near Monsaraz village, reservoirs and Spanish border. Mourao is a small, quiet town with a castle. The appartment is on the ground floor and we could park just next to the house. It is spacious with an entry room, two bedrooms, kitchen sitting area and a small patio next to the kitchen.. Also bathroom is a good size. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Free Wi-Fi was reliable. There are several dogs in the neighborhood, but fortunately they were quiet during the night. Recommend it.
