Esmerelda, the owner and caretaker, was lovely - friendly and very helpful. The rooms were a good size with a private bathroom and a small fridge. We were given the option of buying a breakfast hamper, which was really good value - 10 Euros. Bucelas was quiet and peaceful.

Everything. The location, the accommodation, the pool, the attention to detail. We parked up the car for a few days, got an online taxi to Lisbon River cruise station. A FRS 2hr leisurely cruise on the river, hopped off for a lovely meal and back via train/taxi. Very relaxing and a surprisingly cheap day out. Also the Pizza/Pasta place in town was very good.

Very convenient to the towns' facilities. Very clean and fresh looking. Apartment was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, cleaning products etc. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Arruda is a quaint and historical little town in Portugal and we loved it.

Excellent accommodation, peaceful yet only 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon, accessible by car or bus (one every hour). The on-site restaurant offers traditional cuisine and Arinto wine... to be enjoyed under the restaurant's pergola!

It's not a proper apartment; there's no kitchen, just a...

It's not a proper apartment; there's no kitchen, just a cupboard with tea bags and sugar. The bathroom has no door or walls. If you want privacy, your partner has to go outside. There's no closet either, just a small opening in the wall with a hanging rod, no doors. Very disappointed; we feel ripped off.
