We had the most relaxing, restoring vacation at Vila Emigrante, it really felt like our cosy hut and despite all the wonders that the island has to offer, we were always excited about coming home. The view over the ocean is priceless, the accomodation has all the amenities that we needed and the occasional times that we had issues, they were solved immediately. The service is impeccable, our host super available and friendly. We highly recommend staying here, away from the chaos of Ponta Delgada which is only 12 minutes away by car. Great stay in Sao Miguel, Azores The property is very well equipped, the apartment is large overlooking the sea from one side and the garden from the other side. Internet speed was great too. Overall area is very beautiful We recommend to enjoy the products from the bakery for the breakfast, they are very fresh and tasty. We would love to come back. Sunsets and sunrises from here are fabulous.

This is a fantastic place and the couple who run it are wonderfully caring. Everything worked perfectly. The only sad thing was that we had so little time there, only one night, as we had to catch an early morning flight. So we never saw the garden in daylight.

The houses were very old with old furniture which helped maintain its character. Very quirky and cute. A beautiful breakfast area with views of the swimming pool and mountains and sea. Best breakfast in Azores. Fresh fruit from their garden. Very friendly Anselmo and his wife.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, as you can reach all the sites very quickly. We have decided for this hotel, as in this time of the year (stayed December, over Christmas) the weather is not always good. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. We used them every day. The gym is also well equipped. We stayed in an appartment and did not use the restaurant facilities. The room view was towards the outdoor pool, but right and left, we had nice views towards mountains and the ocean. Generally, it was a wet side, so we couldn't get the swimming suites dry on the balcony.
