Great room — very dark, which was perfect for a good night’s sleep thanks to the excellent blackout curtains. Delicious breakfast, super friendly staff, and a great location. The Wi-Fi was AMAZING! We had heard about mosquito issues in Comporta, but honestly, we didn’t have any trouble — we just used some repellent and a citronella band during dinner, and that was more than enough. *** the charging station for electric cars was a big plus 🥰

The location was perfect, it was easy to walk around the town and to the beach. Straightforward drive from Lisbon airport. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spotless. Finally, we loved the atmosphere of the hotel, it was relaxing and private without being over the top. My wife and I came here to start our honeymoon, and I could not think of a better place to do so!

nice little Vilas, very close to the centre. great for kids, as they have all the facilities in the vila, for cooking a meal, tv, internet, and my kids loved the small pool. staff good on the front desk,always helping with restaurants and tips about tours etc.

The apartment was not in Comporta which was about 15 mins drive away. I would not recommend visiting in March as there was very little to do nearby. It is probably a lovely place to stay in the Summer months

Liked · Breakfast was very nice and up to the standards of a luxury hotel. Service was excellent, perhaps a notch above the usually expected service. The PR level at this hotel is remarkably friendly and courteous. The garden has some unique and carefully manicured combination of greens and zen grated sand and the garden paths are carefully bordered by dried pine needles. Wonderful There are no specific luxury clichés as in many other equivalent hotels. We had dinner once at the hotel - an appetizer of smoked eel and a lobster rice might come our of a Michelin guide. The whole hotel breathes an atmosphere of rustic upscale welcoming smile and quietness. Definitely a place to revisit more than once. A car is obviously a must and at short distance there are great beaches one can visit.

One of the most beautiful beach areas in Portugal. You can stay at close to the beach hotels, or more in the forest area. Either way, you always win. The village is beautiful and the number of options to enjoy yourself for short, long stays or just passing by are numerous.

the resort is great, although being slightly out of season the other restaurants were not open - save for a function for a car company doing a launch. The beach club was great - recommend a lunch there.

I stayed for a long weekend at Casa Idalia with my sister for my Birthday and had an amazing time thanks to Lou and Charlie, who look after their guests so well and are incredibly thoughtful, hospitable and kind!! I really recommend their beautiful Boutique Hotel for anyone looking to stay in Comporta and be well looked after, having a pied a terre which feels a lot like your own place thanks to the serene oasis that Lour and Charlie have created!

All very relaxing. Food good, not great & pricy. Best light sunny rooms are looking towards the pool. Especially enjoyed exploring on electric bikes. Lovely indoor/ outdoor pool and spa. Good restaurant nearby called Sal on the coast. You need a car, v little taxi availability. Highly recommmend restaurant in Comporta called Mesa, superb.

It was the perfect vacation! The place is truly a paradise, and Kochab (which means "star" in Arabic) Comporta was absolutely amazing. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was fantastic. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!
