We loved the atmosphere of the apartment and the village. The decor was very nice and the furniture was comfortable. The shop was nearby and sold all essentials. There were pleasant areas to walk including along the crystal clear river and the cobblestone village streets.

Everything was perfect! Good communication, easy check-in (we picked up the key not far from the accommodation). Dreamlike setting: within walking distance from restaurants and town center. Guests feel like landlords with their own house in a rural, peaceful setting, right in the middle of an orange grove by the riverside. Clean, very spacious with fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

The lodging is just a few minutes off the highway in the countryside. It is 30 minutes from Tomar and 20 minutes from Abrantes. With a restaurant on the property you don't need to worry about dinner or breakfast.

Constancia is beautiful.

Constancia is beautiful. We walked the village in the evening and it was peaceful. The churches are wonderful and there is a lovely walk along the river. We loved the orange and white houses and the well-kept gardens. The supermarket was well stocked and although we never ate at any restaurants, they looked good. We are just so very sad that a paper mill has been constructed across the river! It is noisy and an eyesore on the once beautiful horizon.

We liked the fact that the check in was in person and the welcome from Roberto and his care in the presentation of the house. The sympathy and availability were excellent! Details available in the house as the firewood, various kitchen utensils and groceries make a big difference. The space is cozy and very comfortable, both inside and outside. The trust and freedom offered to the guests makes the experience very special.

A very calm and well-maintained village.

A very calm and well-maintained village. With a river beach, gardens, options for water sports and walking, and a very beautiful surrounding area. Within the village, all services are easily accessible on foot, from restaurants, grocery stores, supermarkets, the river beach, and gardens. A great place for a relaxing family trip or a solo vacation.

What we liked least was the paper mill on the other side of...

What we liked least was the paper mill on the other side of the river. It operates day and night, disrupting the silence and certainly spoiling the landscape. We couldn't hear the noise from our hotel, but it was noticeable when we went for a walk. Apparently, it provides jobs for the area, which is why many locals are okay with it. It's a river beach and a popular spot for local and family tourism.

Constância is a charming village, very peaceful, super clean, everything very organized. We went on a public weekend and had some difficulty getting dinner; either the place was closed or the kitchen closed very early. Overall, it was a very positive experience; we really enjoyed this "Poem Village" and will definitely return.

Constancia is a quiet, pretty little village and it was a pleasure to stay there in such a lovely guest house. Paulo our host was fantastic and even took us on a little walking tour. The guest house was lovely, clean, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was great and far more than we could eat. I highly recommend staying here if you just want to take some time out and relax. Thank you Paulo for your time and attention to detail.

Great hotel in a nice little town, would definitely recommend to check it out. Due to the close proximity to the water it will especially be worth a visit during the summer. The owners are very helpful and friendly and their English is good. We stayed on the first floor and had a cosy, light room with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and included many local and homemade products! Five stars all around.

A romantic and peaceful place to stay steeped in history. Swimming pool not available as out of season but nice to look out on. Near to Constancia. Not far from Batalha and Fatima. Staff were all friendly. Exceptional value.. Old Quinta with vaulted ceiling in restaurant. Interesting archive room with pool table.

Great place to stay in the centre of Constancia! Kitchen well equipped and big confortable appartment to stay in. Luis was very friendly and helpful for the check in and check out process! Constancia in itself is a great place to stay, very charming with many hikes around, would definitely come back !
