Really enjoyed! The hotel is 2star hotel, but we really liked the comfort. Breakfast was fantastic. Location is perfect. Close to main road. Not also beach and ocean view form window. Swimming pool near to the hotel is amazing, water from ocean. A lot of restaurants near by for lunch and dinner. Will obviously recommend the hotel.

Staying at Quinta das Hortênsias was one of the best decisions on this trip. Wonderful environment, a very cozy apartment with a beautiful view, garden, and terrace. I felt comfortable and safe, like at home. Special thanks to the host Viriato for his hospitality, sincerity, and easy communication. It was always a pleasure to chat. My first impression upon arrival - was that this house has a soul, and it was definitely confirmed. I highly recommend it. This apartment was one of the amazing experiences I had in Madeira. I hiked from Caniçal to Faial and this appartment was in the perfect place for the night. It has a washing machine, nice cooking area, a small terrace and a rain shower. All you need after an exhausting day. Also the owners are very supportive and the location is quiet.
