This is our second visit to Fatima. The Mercure in Fatima did not exist when we visited over ten years ago and we are so pleased that this hotel is now a lodging choice for pilgrims. It is clean, bright, has large rooms and is located adjacent to the pilgrimage site. Diana, the multi-lingual manager, was exceptionally attentive, going out of he way to assist us.

The location is very good. It only takes few minutes to walk to the Santuário de Fátima. The room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly. Parking was easy. The breakfast was excellant. The lunch buffet at the hotel's restaurant was also very good.

The location was excellent literally across the street from Fatima shrine. Very clean fantastic staff and breakfast buffet superb. If you want the softer pillows look in the closet. The bathrooms are exceedingly clean as are the rooms. I would recommend this location to all. Restaurants and cafes to suit every taste in the area

This hotel is just across the basilica so it was very quick and easy to go as many times as desired. It is pleasing to the eye and very spacious. We were three guests and our room was divided into two separate bedrooms rooms with the bathroom in between. This was so convenient. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty and good value for money. We had the set menu for 18 euro. The breakfast was also lovely, with lots to choose from . A hotel I would definitely return to in a heartbeat.

    The location was perfect for us. Breakfast was worth the price. Had a restaurant if you needed a hot meal on the premises. Close to an Aldi as well as a coin laundromat. We walked to all the places we visited like Aljustrel and places where the children of Fatima lived.

    Sanctuary - going everyday for the rosary and procession. shopping of course, buying statues, rosary, candles. Ate in various Resturants near the hotel. yes, took a train ride to see the place / house where Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta lived. Everything was walking distance.

    The main things to do in Fatima are gong to the Shrine and Stations of the Cross walking path. The Shrine holds a Pilgrim's Rosary every night at 9pm which is very impressive, hundreds if not thousands attend this candlelight service. The walking path is beautiful and a great outdoor experience also nearby. Very interesting even if one is not religious, but definitely inspiring for those who are.

    It is supposed to be a religious shrine, but the religious feel is ruined by tacky gift shops and noise in the basilica. The chapels in the church of the Holy Trinity provide a good space for private contemplation. Strongly recommended the Museu de Cera and the walk down the Via Sacra through the Olive groves to Aljustrel where you can see the cottages where the children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta lived. Fátima is also a good place to stay to visit Batalha, Ourém, Tomar or Coimbra.

    it draws people who are religious and are curious. also the place is small and calm. my favourite spots are the sanctuario; anjustrel; i ate at a few restuarants while there. fatima you do quite a lot of walking but thee are neighbouring villages and towns like santarem; you can hire a car and drive there some fun activities nclude nature walks

    This was the best lodgings I've ever stayed in. Everything was new, clean and very well prepared. There's everything you need. It's spacious and it contains three bedrooms with two of them having its own toilet and bathroom which was absolutely amazing! The Sanctuary of Fátima is pretty near plus a supermarket just around the corner. The owner Paulo is very nice and always ready to help in case of need. Pilgrim Home is absolutely luxurious! A perfect place. Muito obrigado, Paulo!

    It was a pleasure to be staying at this hotel. It is well located with many restaurants, cafes and shops around. By walk, it's about 10 minutes from the Sanctuary of Fatima and 1 minute from the "Way of the Shepherds" (also know as Via Sacra). The host, Sergio, is very friendly, welcoming and inspiring. The breakfast was delicious, with fantastic homemade cakes. I highly recommend this hotel and will soon return!

    Location of the place is the best I could have imagined- just by the sanctuary. Very helpful host, gave and explained me the map, answered my questions, was overall very welcoming. The room is clean and nice, bed is comfy, shower was perfect. It was unforgettable stay and I will recommend it to all my friends who will visit Fatima!
