We stayed in this beautiful room and it was perfect. Very central area which has markets shops and restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean. There was someone on reception throughout the day if you needed, Ana was very helpful. The hotel is close to a supermarket, laundromat and great cafes…everything you need for the perfect stay in Loule😀

Really nice hotel that just opened, quality of the room and equipments are exceptional with nice attention to details. Superb surroundings with the two swimming pools. Breakfast was delicious, and the Spa is really a must.

This was a last minute booking and I'm so pleased I found this property for my holiday. Casa Amar is very clean, modern, tasteful, and clearly looked after with a lot of love. Everything you need is available. Fatima was a lovely host who went above and beyond. If I find myself back in this part of the world I hope to stay here again! As a side note, there are free buses within walking distance that will take you where you need to go, however if you prefer a bit more comfort Ubers are very reasonable and reliable as well, finding one is not a problem.

    A charming traditional Portugese town.Full of character and a great location to explore the beach resorts of the Algarve. We even caught a Mariachi band performing in our local square. Prices are so much more reasonable than the beach resorts most of which are only 15mins away.

    Great town, nice cafes and restaurants. The gypsy market was very disappointing but the municipal market was very good. Good restaurant to eat at “Angolana”, not in the most fashionable area of town but fantastic food, wine and price.

    Loulé is a lovely place just about 10 minutes away from the seaside. You have a couple of lovely coffee bars and restaurants but the main one is the Saturday fish and fresh vegetable, fruit market. Then the square is vibrant!

    Lovely town/village. Great location although a busy street. Great communication with hosts and very responsive. It rained most of the time but still able to walk around and experience the great restaurants and shops.

    The size of the apartment and the washing machine with a...

    The size of the apartment and the washing machine with a dryer were very helpful, especially since our luggage was lost. This was a great help during the first two days of our extended stay at this property. The kitchen was well-equipped, with one complimentary washing pill for the dishwasher. When we asked for a few more for the extra day of our stay, we were told they were complimentary, as well as the toilet paper. Parking in this place is very difficult; all the small towns in Portugal seem to have the same problem. The lack of interaction and communication just wasted our time, starting with trying to open a door with the smart handle from inside (there are no instructions on the door or information sent to us, as if everyone needs to know how to operate smart handles). We booked an extra night due to the lost suitcase matter, and on the extra day, we were called multiple times to check out, and no one checked the same names on the extra reservation, etc. While arriving late at night, the codes to the doors were changed, and they didn’t send them to us again, so we spent an extra 30 minutes trying to check in again. We left a child's small purse in the bedroom's closet, not to forget on the hanger, and we forgot, but it was not found. Instead, they called us about some other guest's lost keys... one big communication mess. Our stay could have been so much easier and better if internal communications with the cleaning lady and booking agents were working. We would reconsider staying there again, only if we were desperate.

    Wonderful facilities beautiful room immaculately clean and the host was super accommodating. Hot tub always on and clean same for the pool . Slept extremely well on beds and sofa beds. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you could ever want we extended our stay twice because we were so comfortable. Location super central and the Thai restaurant next was also very very good . Thank you for fantastic stay thoroughly recommend it.

    Been 3 times before. This time we upgraded to the top floor, we had a very generous balcony with Astro turf and this was definitely worth the extra €30 for three nights. Slight issue with pigeons when sitting outside- always present! The room was fab, breakfast we always looked forward to, good coffee and hot and cold food in abundance. So near centre of Loulé , we will return again next year- predictably fantastic! Staff lovely and pool area a treat, always quiet too!

    Loved the stay in Loulé at downtown Loulé. The communication with the hotel was great and the rooms were really nice, each one with their theme. The location was central and we managed to find amazing places to eat in Loulé and it was a good place to stay because we also wanted to visit the wine yard “Quinta da tôr” which was nearby. If you have the chance, take the opportunity to take a few days from the coast and go up to the mountains and visit Loulé.
