Bonvalot Guest House is as good as it gets. Firstly, the friendliness of the staff makes it feel like you are staying at home and you feel extremely welcome into the property. The house is very beautiful, modern but classical with style and just a short stroll to Praia Paco de Arcos, or Parque Das Poetas. I loved my time here so much I stayed here twice!

Nice Apartment within 5 min walk to the beach. About 15 min walk to the Trainstation (20 min by train to Center of Lisbon and about 25 min to Cascais) the Apartment building does not look inviting, but the staircases is clean and people are friendly. Across the street you have a bakery, on the corner a small shop and a bit further a small supermarket. You also find a few small Restaurants. Parking is street parking, but hard to find on the weekend. We would come back.

We travel to Lisbon for our anniversary and everyone made sure everything was ready upon arrival. Traveling with our dog was also amazing since they made us feel he was one more guest, everyone was super kind to him, and us! Facilities were extremely clean and breakfast was probably the best we have ever tried in all of our trips! The neighborhood was super quite and nice to rest but close to bars, pharmacy and supermarket; we rented a car and it was super convenient in order to go downtown. The hotel is very beautiful, decor is exquisite and the whole crew is very attentive to details and extremely kind. Shoutout to Miguel in the reception who greeted us every morning and the rest of the personnel in reception and all areas of the hotel. Overall our stay was a 10/10, would for sure recommend to everyone!

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. From the moment we arrived, everything was outstanding — one of the best service experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is absolutely pet-friendly, which made our stay even more special. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were consistently helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. One situation really proved the exceptional quality of this hotel: during a major power and communication outage that affected all of Portugal for half a day, the hotel did everything in its power to ensure guest comfort and safety. They managed to keep one elevator working, maintain internet access, and provide assistance to all guests throughout the blackout. This level of preparedness and care is rare — and speaks volumes about the hotel’s standards. I also had a personal issue when I accidentally broke the lock on my suitcase. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. The breakfast is simply perfect — with a wide selection and the option to order freshly prepared dishes to your taste. And the views… just breathtaking. The ocean view from both the room and the restaurant is absolutely unforgettable. If you’re looking for a true luxury experience with world-class service, this is the place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

    Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport...

    Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

    Safe, comfortable and private space which was really well decorated and had thoughtful touches to add that layer of luxury. I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND! The location is perfect! It sits between Lisbon and Cascais so really great if you want to experience both. It’s a 4 min walk to the train station with lots of buses around and restaurants. The owners are very hands on and have created a helpful guide for the area. Great WiFi and a quiet area which helped as I needed to work for a few days whilst out there. It’s a lovely space!

    We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment and the beautiful view of the ocean. It is very well equipped with everything you need and close to the station in a quiet neigbourhood. Frederico was very kind and accommodating with all our requests - it was the perfect place to end our three week road trip of beautiful Portugal with its wonderful people

    The hotel was very nice. It is a private house with several rooms for guests, a very comfortable kitchen, dining room, lounge, and patio where you can relax. The room is comfortable, spacious, and has a large veranda. It is all clean and comfortable. There exists one, but it's merely a parking area.

    We wanted a mixed tour and beach holiday, and we got it. It was nearly 10 min walk to the beach and about 20 min by taxi to the Lisboa city centre. Taxi cost about 11-12€. It's perfect location.
