We liked everything❤️ The room was bigger than we though, peaceful and very beautiful place. We felt such a warm welcome, the breakfast was 5 stars and we loved the cats. Definitely our place to be when closer to Porto.

Hi, I'm just back from three days here with my wife, and all we can say is just wow!! The property is amazing, clean, private parking private pool, aircon was brilliant. Restaurant next door, Lidl 5min away and so is a massive shopping mall. The host was extremely helpful and kept in touch throughout our trip to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely be back again.

When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and...

When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and underpriced , i decided to check it out only problem was to get there within chk in time of 10pm due to severe weather i would arrive around midnight, so called to ask and Paula said ok, so when i arrived this castle on top of the hill we were greeted by kind Mr Carlos and showed us to our Royal Room. Next day at Nice breakfast we got chance to befriend Paula and got royal service with a Smile. Property is a hidden gem with 2 Angels Paula and Carlos to help you stay confortably at their country house and i wish i could stay longer. This property is located on a hill in old historic town in a very serene setting. would definately visit again..

I went to Paços de Ferreira for other reasons.

I went to Paços de Ferreira for other reasons. The truth is, the town itself is uninteresting unless you're looking to furnish the house. However, within the municipality there are some very interesting sites, such as the citadel of Sanfins and the church of the former Ferreira monastery, one of the most remarkable Romanesque monuments in Portugal.

The owner of the place is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She was available to do all she could to help out with transport, the room, breakfast etc. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast was complimentary, and delicious! The hotel is in a very beautiful, rural part of Portugal and made for quite the lovely walk around sunset. The outdoor patio is a great place to meet other patrons, and overall I had a wonderful time here.

The old hotel was an idyllic stay with history. The host was very hospitable, making sure that we were as comfortable as possible, and advising on a great place to eat when we arrived at night. The place is close to the airport so great for departure next day.
