Great characterful hotel in a lovely town. Really helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast and a really good restaurant for evening meals. Good off road parking. Location very good and avoids the narrow cobbled streets. Really enjoyable stay.

It was calm and the bed and room where really comfortable especially the cotton sheets. Perfect temperature and the balcony was just perfect to enjoy the view of the river. Located just before the park and the wall which is ideal. Walking distance to every attraction in town.

It was an exceptionally comfortable, clean, and pleasant hotel, with wonderful ambience throughout the room—and above all, truly outstanding staff. Excellent hosts! They made our family feel like home and really went the extra mile. They made us eggs upon request (we are American and love eggs in the morning!), as well as went and purchased a baby bath for our little one! Additionally, they were very knowledgeable about Moncao, northern Portugal and close by Spain as well. They provided vegetarian restaraunt recommendations, local authors and poets, and top attractions to go visit! Rooms were very clean and overall the house is beautiful with gorgeous views!

Awesome stay with Liliana and her family's house. The suite is super comfy, has just what you need for an incredible weekend in scenic Sistelo. The view while opening the window was a bowl of nature. Special mention for the shower!
