The location was amazing! The Hotel is right by the sea and all the bedrooms and common areas are built to enjoy the view. The bar, the breakfast room and the pool let you enjoy Pico all day long. Each room has an individual balcony so you can enjoy the sunset! The staff is always very helpful and kind! And you can have crepe with Nutella for breakfast!

We enjoyed 5 blissful days at the Villas Casteletes. From the first moment of our arrival, Amaro, Julia, and Monica made us feel welcome and at home. The grounds are a garden oasis tucked against the verdant hillside, spilling onto stunning views of the ocean. On a clear day, Pico dominates the skyline with her massive cone. The breakfast is communal and delectable and a fun way to get to know other travelers. There is convenient parking on site, and the most amazing restaurant just a 5 minute walk from the villas. Their pool was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. If you're considering a stay, book now! You'll love it!

There is no way that there is a better place to stay in Velas than this beautiful house with amazing views straight to Pico Island. The handover keys was perfect even though our flight was delayed by 8h. The house has everything you need (well, missed some olive oil for cooking hahaha). Room are spacious, living room is huge and the terrace with the views and the barbecue are just perfect. The house is a 1min drive to the main supermarket in Sao Jorge and parking is right outside the house. House is big enough to host 7 people with plenty of space. I really find hard to believe that there is a better place in Velas!!! And the biggest thumbs up for our hosts, because we had a ferry late at night and we could check out late afternoon, that was a huge life saver. Really appreciated.

Very nice and comfortable rooms, which are really spacious. Besides that everything is well maintained and cleaned. The biggest plus is that it is family owned, so the host really welcomes you like family and takes his time to welcome you and tell you more about the island and can even give tips on which parts of the island to visit when it's foggy
