The hotel was pretty much perfect. Beautiful rooms, a lovely smell everywhere, fabulous breakfast with lots of options, lovely pool and spa area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus there were books, lots of books. The location is ideal for exploring with a sea swimming spot nearby. The water was clear and warm. Angra is a stunning town and this hotel is the perfect place to stay.

What can I say? We absolutely loved our stay. The views, the pool, the attention to every detail, the luxurious decor, everything was perfect. We stayed for four nights in the family suite upstairs (the one with the big balcony) it had the feel of a five star hotel but only having three rooms it felt homely & it was very very easy to relax. I really didn’t want to leave. The town of Angra is only a 15 min walk along the promenade where you’ll find lots of great places to eat. Our favourite spot was Taberna do Teatro, a great team serving really great food. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Silveira Bay Longe Retreat. For us, it was perfect.

If I could give 11 out of 10 - I would. This family-run business have brought the Terceiran hospitality to perfection. Everything is immaculate inside and outside the property. We travelled Azoren for 3 weeks before we stayed there, and their beds were the most comfortable by far. Beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfasts and extremely relaxed atmosphere of wel-run family country house where a guest is always welcome. Views over the hills are just sublime.
