1) Property is located in the great area with stunning views and in the same time, not far from many landmarks and the city. 2) Doubleroom was exactly what we needed with 2 separated rooms. Big number and we had the corner one which we really liked. Was very comfortable and clean. 3) In general hotel is like an old styled pansion from italian movies. Atmosphere is amazing. 4) Has big parking and garden with pool is simply beautiful. 5) Stuff was very helpful and friendly in the same time very professional. 6) Pretty nice sound proof + it was very quiet, this is the most important for me in the hotels.

The place is absolutely beautiful, even it is far from everything (you have to drive to get somewhere). It is like a rural area of small village so not many stuff around but the view in the morning from windows was just spectacular. Staff was helpful and really nice. The breakfast was good enough to get your day started. I really enjoyed the bed, I could sleep in there all day. if you like calm spot with a amazing view, this is your place.

It was the warmest welcome that We’ve ever experienced. This little surprises made our stay to uniqe. The house is beautiful and clean in and out, and the lotchen is very well equipped. We only spent 5 nights here but we wished we would have booked full of our stay in Madeira to this house and its beautiful landscape.

Silvia was a really nice and helpful host. She waited for us to handle the keys, was super flexible with the check out and accommodated all our needs. We traveled with a baby and needed some more stuff for the kitchen (like a mixer and some bowls) and next day she already brought everything we asked. The house was clean and spacious and a great starting point for us to explore the island

This location is simply out-of-this-world beautiful.

This location is simply out-of-this-world beautiful. I did a lot of driving around Madeira, 700km in a week, so I saw a lot of places. Sao Vicente is lush, green, mountainous and breathtaking. I'm definitely glad we stayed here.

This is a beautiful, small town in the north side you should definitely stay in. It's central to most everything (even though a huge chunk of a convenient road to some trails was closed...) and has its own lovely charm.

Helena is very kind helpful and welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The area is beautiful, the house is in the perfect location to explore the north part/north west, and spend time in the capital city. House has huge en-suite rooms and a great size well-equipped kitchen, living room, and terrace with outdoor furniture. We had dinner every day in Sao Vicente (5 min by car) Restaurante Calamar. Excellent food, and we were happy with everything we tried. I am sure will go and stay here next time when we'll visit the island.

Sao Vicente is a great base for exploring the north of the island without really having a huge amount going for it per se (nothing negative). But Seixal is only a few km away and is my favourite village on the island! Sao Vicente does have a few ok restaurants by the sea but I had better meal experiences elsewhere during my trip. The local caves are closed for the next year or so.

The village is absolutely beautiful.

The village is absolutely beautiful. Ideal for walking around. The views are just stunning, especially if you walk on top of the hill where the small chapel is. It's just difficult to get there if you want to use public transport. Buses there are a nightmare. We were lucky enough that our previous host took us there from Funchal. Otherwise we would struggle as nobody whom we asked in Funchal knew where the bus stop was for bus going to Sao Vicente.

Lovely rooms and garden, everything clean and tidy, great breakfast with a view. Great to relax by the pool surrounded by the mountains and then go for a sauna. Good walks nearby. Good restaurant Lavrador 2 minute walk up the road and a few local bars, Bar Escola Velha just around the corner was very welcoming with handmade Poncha. Also walked into Sao Vicente, which looks like it is all being renovated with some restaurants along the front, the walk back was pretty steep though as we couldn't find a taxi.

It's in a beautiful and remote location in the mountainous Laurissilva forest, close enough to Sao Vicente by car. I cannot stress enough how necessary it is to have a car if you book this place, unless you want to do nothing but relax on the property. It was really nice to not have a ton of other people around! The sunsets were great and their private waterfall is a must see. Equipment was adequate to cook our meals, but it would have been nice to have an outdoor grill like many other places on Madeira.

The Guest House was located in a quite area of Sao Vicente. Our room had a clear picturesque view of the island and mountains. The balcony and room where spacious and beds were very comfortable. The guest house was very quite, and staff were not present at the guest house but easily contactable. Clear instructions to check in and check out, all amenities provided as shown at the time of booking.
