The property was very new and clean, the family managing it was very friendly. When we checked in, we were given a small tour of the property such as the restaurant, swimming pool, gym, and even tried their own homemade port wine for free! Our room was with the balcony was big and beautiful. Had dinner at the property, cooked by the mom - delicious portugese food with generous portions! Enjoying the sunset while having dinner was one of my best moments!

We loved the beautiful and peaceful location of Quinta da Côrte. Although they only have a few rooms (8 in total), the quality of service was exceptional. Pool views are stunning :) The winery on-site is amazing, and as house guests, we were treated to a free tour and tasting, which was such a nice touch! Highly recommend the dining-option: Usually, we love exploring local restaurants (which we did once) but nothing could beat the view, the ambiance, and the delicious food!

Modern, nice and comfortable house, very clean, all we needed was there. We were a family of 8 adults plus one infant and stayed for one week. All had good space. The host, Rui, was very helpful in our requests. The cherry on the top was the ever changing view of the Duoro Valley. We can surely recommend the property.

Staff All the staff were really friendly and helpful.The young guy who looked after us in the dining room was particularly lovely. Check in, check out. Easy to do. Room The rooms are quite large and spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and excellent ensuite bathrooms. Food Evening meals had a good selection and were really well cooked. Breakfast has a massive selection of fresh fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, and more. Cleanliness Everywhere was immaculately kept. Car parking. There are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel.

Stay more than one night and explore: it pays dividends. Have a look at Favaios and try the Cooperative's Moscatels, walking in the hills, go and see the palaeolithic art (about an hour away). One or two nights is not enough, especially if you include port tasting too! And there is always the poolside to relax when you dont want to do anything!

The area is just beautiful, stunning.

The area is just beautiful, stunning. There is a sense of awe that overcomes you and the natural surroundings... probably because how narrow the roads are and how high up are. It is worth the drive and the wine and olive oil in the area are exquisite.

One of the most beautiful places in the World.

One of the most beautiful places in the World. Don’t miss this area. Stay out of the large city. A vineyard hotel up high would be the perfect place. You’ll be able to drive through wonderful small villages in your way. Once in your hotel you’ll probably have access to a great personal or very small tour of the vineyard production facilities. We were invited to walk in the vineyard all we wanted. Views are absolutely amazing. We also stayed at the Barrel hotel which was touristy and filled with buses. Get up and away from the tourist crowd. We drive there Valley by car. It was easy and gorgeous.

Lovely region where you can explore vineyards and nice food. It is worth doing a wine tasting with visit to know the details about wine making and the varities of grapes. The landscape is exquisite and you feel an inner peace looking down the Douro river and the vineyards. The people are warm and happy, always ready to help. It is better to go by car to enjoy the full potential of the region. Be prepared to drive on hills with many curves and narrow roads. They also produce olive oil and it is delicious!!!

The location is absolutely perfect! The hotel offers the best view of Pinhao, the Douro River and the surroundings. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay near Pinhao. Make sure to save at least a night to have dinner at the hotel!
