Our stay in Sandra's house was wonderful and she was so helpful. Lovely, comfortable and spacious house and the host was excellent. She replied to any queries in minutes and even arranged a transfer to the airport for us. Would recommend.

The apartments were so cozy and beautiful. I had a fantastic view on the ocean. The breakfast was very tasty, there was a great selection. It was great fun getting to know the island on the day rides. The horses are well trained, are kept in a manner appropriate to their species and you can tell that they are having fun on the rides.

Idìlia has welcomed us in her house. She's the kindest person on earth. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the house with the garden and an amazing view on the valley. She has a cute cat If you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it!! Recommended 10/10

The facility is basic but it offers value for money. Good beds, clean rooms. The little houses are nicely located near the natural pools. It has a real festive, beach atmosphere with a lively beach bar at the end of the road where locals meet and where you can get snacks and drinks. We had some problems with our aircondlting but the owners handled it extremely well. Their personal approach made all the difference.

    Loved that the host provided some basic supplies - coffee, milk, fresh eggs, homemade jam, olive oil. The hot water was plentiful. It was great to have a washing machine. But the view is the best selling point!

    We loved Varadouro.

    We loved Varadouro. We stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed longer to relax by the pools and swimming inlet. These swimming areas are located amongst the volcanic rock and are just amazing. The area is very relaxing, the sea could be heard from our accommodation. We had a hire car, which is needed as the area is remote. There are a few restaurants and cafes nearby.
