It's a beautiful little room with a lovely view of the ocean. I didn't have a car so was a reasonable walk up the hill from the beach but it wasn't far. Would be very easy with a car. The pool was wonderful. A very cute little welcome basket and some drinks as we. The host was extremely wonderful. I don't speak French but he made an effort to communicate well with me and was very helpful. He let me leave my bag there for 5 days in the garage when I went hiking which was above and beyond.

It's very nice family run hostel. Beautiful, big house in a perfect location close to shop, bus stop and city center. The room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. The owbers are very open, nice, helpful. I do recomend!

We felt the most at peace here than any other stay on the island. They thought about everything including snorkels and umbrellas to take to the beach. The host was super nice, she even returned something I forgot on our next destination. Best stay on Réunion!

A very pretty little town with everything you need: beach, restaurants, sunsets... And a very good bakery! Don't hesitate to eat at Bambou; the staff is very attentive and the food is delicious!

We went in June. It was a pleasure to be in L'Étang-Salé.

We went in June. It was a pleasure to be in L'Étang-Salé. It's quieter than other resorts on the coast, allowing you to relax and unwind. And it's a great base for exploring the area.

The blowhole was magnificent, as was the chasm.

The blowhole was magnificent, as was the chasm. There's a restaurant nearby. The Floralys is the only hotel and doesn't offer rooms for families with three children, only bungalows that don't include housekeeping. Personally, when I go on vacation, I don't want to do what I already do every day at home. I don't know if I'll go back, but the scenery was very beautiful.
