The location is absolutely stunning... waking up to a view of two waterfalls, a herd of sheep grazing nearby, and the dramatic mountain scenery was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and I even offered to take some professional drone shots of the hotel for them next time. The breakfast was fresh and tasty too. A truly peaceful place to unwind after battling the serpentine roads of the Transfagarasan. Its definitely worth spending an extra few euros to stay here than somewhere further down the mountain in one of the first cities. I’d love to come back!

The casa was great. Just need to take into account that there is nothing but a place to stay in that location. No shops no markets. We stayed there for a daily trek and was surprised that no markets available. So just make sure to come ready with food and drinks and anything you like.

For such a majestic location, I did not expect to have amenities as spa and a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh water melon and the mineral water available everywhere. Communication in english was great.

Cottage was clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. The area outside was well maintained. Breakfast that was included was good. We also had dinner at the restaurant and food was delicious.
