I would definitely recommend getting a car, bringing some books and some nice warm clothing. There is plenty of hiking in the area and you are only 20 minutes away from the lake. A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking.

A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days.

Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska...

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

A perfect and relaxing stay in the beautiful Mokra Gora. The property ia absolutely beautiful! The room,is clean and size is good, the view from the balcony over the mountains feels like you are in Heaven. You have a poll and a lot of spaces to relax. Really cozy and quiet. Close to a few small stores and hiking locations. The yard is really pretty as well. You can tell someone put a lot of thought and work into the place. Mokra Gora was fun to explore. The internet is ok also. The cabibn has eveything you need for a comofortable stay. All in all an amazing experiance!

We had problem when crossing the border and only managed to check-in just after 11pm. We had to message the hotel via the booking.com’s messenger to contact the hotel. We were glad and relieved that the hotel replied within 15min. The view was beautiful. Very relaxing.
