Best accommodation during our entire trip to Rwanda - an amazingly large room with an unbeatable view of Lake Kivu right from the bed. Absolute cleanliness everywhere. Staff great, arranged all possible excursions for us around the area, including fishing with local fishermen. The food was absolutely top notch. Possibility to use the kayaks for free.

I loved the scenery overlooking Lake Kivu. Nirvana has a lovely pool with a good view of the lake.. Also loved the local hut inspired room designs equipped with modern toilet facilities. The location is also a walking distance to the beach side where you can board a boat to get to the natural hot water springs ("volcanic water").

This hotel is a gem. I have stayed at Kivu Paradise Resort many times over the past couple of years. Some highlights are the lush tropical gardens, the beach, the stunning lake views, the delicious food and rustic fireplace at the in-house restaurant, and the private cottages. Lovely place! People who love animals, you will stay surrounded by goats, sheep and 2 dogs Poppy and Ambush. The place has great design, direct access to the beautiful lake Kivu. The owners are super helpful and nice people.
