Everyone was super nice and helpful. In the beginning we had a great tour around the place and had awesome views at the hills around. The children in the village were so interested and followed us around. The food is really awesome and the manager Alex will make sure everything ist to ones satisfaction.

When you arrive at Rutete Eco Lodge, you feel like a guest in someone’s home rather than a hotel. Julien and her team provide the utmost comfort throughout your stay. What can I say — it was hard for me to climb the stairs, and the very next day the team welded handrails! The property is beautiful, with an interesting little farm and the chance to interact with the animals. The food was also delicious, and the birthday cake exceeded all my expectations. Thank you to the team for such a warm welcome!

I cannot even express the gratitude I have for people and this place! They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! The location, the staff, the food! It has been really a nice staying! It is perfect to be used to see the Akagera National Park which is less than 10 min driving distance

Akagera Rhino Lodge is a great place to stay near Akagera Park—only 15 minutes away by car. The room was very cosy, with an amazing view of the lake! The restaurant is nice, the food is good, and you can also order a picnic to take with you on safari in the park. The staff is really friendly and attentive. There's hot water in the shower, and the Wi-Fi is decent. I 100% recommend this place for its excellent value for money.
