The hotel was simply perfect. Extremely conveniently located near the Kigali Conference Center (just a 20-30 minute walk). I had a room on the second floor and the hotel was very quiet and clean. I felt very safe and welcomed by the friendly hotel staff. They even gave a complimentary jar of honey at check-out!

From our room we had a great view of Kigali and the surrounding mountains. We ate all our meals in the hotel restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and reasonably priced. There is a mall under the hotel where we did some shopping.

During my trip to Rwanda — the 99th country I’ve visited — I stayed two nights at Robero Resort. From the very first moment, I felt incredibly welcome. The manager personally picked me up from the airport and immediately provided all the help I needed. The resort itself is beautifully designed and very well taken care of. My room was spotlessly clean. The gardens are lush and green, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are wonderful, and the views over the surrounding hills are absolutely breathtaking. The WiFi is excellent throughout the entire property, which is perfect for travelers like me. The food was delicious every single time, and the coffee… simply amazing! But what impressed me the most was the staff: the most kind-hearted and caring people. They made me feel at home from start to finish.
