We had an amazing stay at the Clarion Hotel Winn and would definitely give it a perfect 10/10! The highlight of our trip was the pool - it was spotless, well-maintained, and the best part was that we had it entirely to ourselves, making it a truly relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a huge variety of delicious options that catered to all preferences, including gluten-free choices. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of Gävle, making it convenient to explore the city. Overall, the combination of excellent facilities, top-notch service, and a peaceful pool experience made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Exceptionally friendly staff. Great location for transit travellers by the highway and free parking is a bonus. Delicious breakfast, better than at home. The room was tidy and comfortable. Great extra area for chilling out with coffee and cookies.

When we stay at Best Western hotels always welcome feel safe and well satisfied. The staff do there utmost to helpthe customer. Hard working people. The breakfast was great and the bread is to die for. Even the parking is just round the corner. A very spacious car park. A good hotel to go back to. The room was clean. Very good desk. Nice hotel near the harbour but within a 10 minute walk of the town centre. Very warm welcome and the Team worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Tea and coffee available all day. Bountiful biscuits! Even an evening sandwich provided if you got peckish! Comfortable room with nice hot shower. Parking right outside which was free all weekend. We really enjoyed our stay! Hospitality 10/10! Thank you.

It's a nice place to visit for a day.

It's a nice place to visit for a day. You can always try and combine your visit there with a concert or something else. Transportation is okay but with weird timetables, you need to check them on advance. Great place to eat is the Blackstone Steakhouse, eating there made our day!

Surprisingly Gävle offered us a different angle every time we go there. Just 2 hours away it like having a relaxing holiday! Friendly people, beautiful sights and the nature......WOW the nature is next to nothing else in Sweden=GO THERE!

I was in Gävle for nostalgic reasons, so I knew a little...

I was in Gävle for nostalgic reasons, so I knew a little about the city beforehand. Showed parts of the city and surroundings to my friend! Most impressed by Boulognerskogen and the nice cycle paths to Bönan and Furuvik, as well as "Gamla Gefle"!

We liked that it was a lively city center with many...

We liked that it was a lively city center with many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to everything. A visit to the prison museum is recommended. We went up to Hemlingby which was just outside Gävle and ran an orienteering course. There were maps with the "course of the week" in a box at the track center that you could borrow. Thanks!

super nice museums - county museum and railway museum were real highlights fantastic park with very nice art, cozy plantings with nice benches along the river invite you to sit and enjoy the moment... nice city center with beautiful houses, plenty of nice restaurants

It was a small apartment with kitchen facilities. So you could cook dinner and prepare your own breakfast. There was a cafe a few minutes walking distance from the apartment which was open early for breakfast as an alternative to making your own. I liked the location close to Gavleån and the building itself. Very short walk to and from the railway station.
