We also had my father's funeral service at the hotel and they did not offer for me to have the room for a delayed check out or anything. I also explained that it was my father’s funeral that I am coming for and they did not put us together in nearby rooms although there were many of us staying at the hotel. Excellent room and add-on bicycles to roam around Mariefred. A perfect cosy homely atmosphere for a relaxing weekend with family next to Gripsholm castle and the Järnvägsstation.
