Mora Hotell & Spa is a very conveniently located hotel that is the perfect place to stay to discover Mora and surroundings and a gateway to other areas in Sweden. After a trip with the Inlandsbanan rail (during which we already had 1 night at the hotel prior to our train package), we returned to Mora for 3 more nights. Mora is very charming and the cultural cradle of Sweden and this can really be felt when spending time here. The biggest asset is the family atmosphere the owners, and in particular Patrick, create. Patrick makes time to answer questions, give advice and gives you that genuine feeling he is interested in his guests and proud of his hotel and Mora and will go the extra mile to see smiling happy faces. The breakfast is amazing, the trainstation Mora Strand is at very short walking distance and bikes can be rented at the hotel, which we did to reach Nusnäs to visit Dalahäst factories. Rooms are comfortable and the spa facilities really make you relax from the daily hustle and bustle at home...

Super cozy, have everything you need to be there, a kitchen super complete , 2 comfortable beds, a sofa, table games, a big shower, and the terrace with 4 chairs and 2 more seats. If you need to hear nature this is your location, no one is gonna disturb you, but you have people near there if you need something. The only thing you’re gonna hear is the animals and wind in the trees sounds. And the very best of all is the treatment you’re gonna receive from Lena, I’ve never had an experience like this with an owner never in my life, Lena told me the best sites to visit and go and searched some activities I wanted to do. The hotel has recently undergone a renovation. The rooms now are not only modern but also absolutely beautiful! very cozy (except that double bed was two single beds but that's ok), very organized, had everything one needed, great shower and tv. The breakfast was wonderful and had everything one needs, tho as vegetarians we would have enjoyed a little more warm options but it was great as is. Coffee was amazing! Stuff was really nice and professional.

Breakfast was very well organised. You could make it yourself on the hour you wanted. The fridge and the kitchen was stuffed with quality food and here were several home made breads, ven without gluten. Coffee and tea was possible anaytime. This hotel is right in the centre of Mora, and important there, its has a free own big parking lot. The hosts are extremely friendly. Great value for money.

Loved the renovation of an old barn to a self -contained apartment. Great facilities with the kitchen, fridge and washing machine. We also loved the linens. The number of beds was perfect and it was a great base from which to explore Mora and celebrate midsommar in Dalarna.

Old school hotel or motel, nice quiet, right next to the near lake, gives you (in a good sense) a feeling of being a tourist in the 19th century (you can disconnect) and relax. The room was superbly clean and spacious with all needed facilites.
