We went on a Wednesday when there was an old car meet up. Great buzz in the city. Live band playing and really lovely places to eat and drink outside. Also beautiful walk by the castle and church. Recommend a visit!

The weather wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped, but one...
The weather wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped, but one can't blame Vadstena for that. The castle is well worth a guided visit, and the town is very pleasant for walking, with lake-front paths and many small shops (be careful - they shut at 15.00 on Saturdays).

Vadstena is an amazing place.
Vadstena is an amazing place. Lots of culture buildings, castle and of course the famous church. You can take a swim from any place along the lakefront. Taking a walk is highly recommended. Walk all the way out to the lighthouse. If you get hungry, grab something to eat and sit down in the park. Lovely!

Vadstena is a very charming and beautiful Swedish town.
Vadstena is a very charming and beautiful Swedish town. We really enjoyed our stay. It is very walkable. The castle tour was excellent, as was our visit to the abbey. There are many good places to eat, and everyone we encountered was very friendly.

Very friendly, personable and professional owners. The rooms had a soothing and peaceful character that isn't captured on the current photos. Very comfortable beds and delicious spread of buffé breakfast with lots of organic treats.
Very serene and tranquil surroundings despite being so close to the town centre. Next time we come to Vadstena this is where we'd stay.

Really nice hotel for a overnight stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is perfect and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is good, has everything we need. There is also parking and charing in the place. There is also public parking just around. The charing work very smoothly.
There are some books and toys for the little one.
