The location was excellent, right in the centre of town close to restaurants and shops. The facility had full equipped kitchen. We did not have to cook food for our short stay, but good to have fridge for storing cold drinks etc. The property is excellent both for short and longer stay.

The weather wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped, but one...

The weather wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped, but one can't blame Vadstena for that. The castle is well worth a guided visit, and the town is very pleasant for walking, with lake-front paths and many small shops (be careful - they shut at 15.00 on Saturdays).

Vadstena is an amazing place.

Vadstena is an amazing place. Lots of culture buildings, castle and of course the famous church. You can take a swim from any place along the lakefront. Taking a walk is highly recommended. Walk all the way out to the lighthouse. If you get hungry, grab something to eat and sit down in the park. Lovely!

Vadstena is a very charming and beautiful Swedish town. We really enjoyed our stay. It is very walkable. The castle tour was excellent, as was our visit to the abbey. There are many good places to eat, and everyone we encountered was very friendly.

The hotel seems to be a collection of historic buildings dispersed across the old parts of town. So it’s really a collection of boutique hotels. The one we stayed in had very comfortable rooms. The buffet breakfast in our particular building was truly outstanding attended to by charming staff - lots of variations on a Swedish theme as well as the usual staples. Parking directly outside our building. Very close indeed to the lake shore, the castle and old town.

Really nice hotel for a overnight stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is perfect and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is good, has everything we need. There is also parking and charing in the place. There is also public parking just around. The charing work very smoothly. There are some books and toys for the little one.

A lovely and very spacious apartment, a stone's throw from central Vadstena, and the beautiful lake. Very clean and with every amenity. The town is rather lovely with pretty boutiques and great food. Hosts were wonderful, very helpful and pleasant. Overall we had a lovely time.

A good hostel near the Vadstena cloister church and only seven minutes walk to the castle. One can swim in Vättern around the corner and it is a very calm area.
