This place was incredible. We were alone in there, so we had the bedroom and bathroom to ourselves. Everything was new, extremely clean, so nice. The host was the best person, very friendly, received us so well and gave great recommendations of places to go. The location is very close to the city center and a walking distance to nice places to visit. Everything was perfect and Bovec is a beautiful city surrounded by amazing nature. Highly recommend.

Bovec is a great location - lovely small town with beautiful views and great activities in the surrounding areas. We particularly liked the white water rafting and would recommend giving it a go. Definitely see myself returning to Bovec some time.

Great location for walking, rafting, kayaking etc.

Great location for walking, rafting, kayaking etc. It's a pretty town centre with two small supermarkets, and two big ones just on the edge of town. The cable car isn't working right now - might be a while before it is back in action. But the Soca River has to be seen to be believed - just amazing. The local tourist office were really helpful too. The range of restaurants is a bit limited - burgers seem to be the common theme - but the quality is great, if not the variety!! Great bar, Thirsty River, in the middle of town. Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Felix Bar a great place with good food too.

Fantastic part of the Slovenia - is the river Soča Valley.

Fantastic part of the Slovenia - is the river Soča Valley. Bovec village is the perfect base point for your activities like rafting/cycling/hiking/ or taking some discovery by car day trips. Lots of things to see and enjoy around - waterfalls (Boka, Virje) and meny more - river Soča in ist full beauty - Julian Alps (Kanin, Ostri Rob, Krnica..) - Relatively quick access to enjoy the hike to Mangart - close is also Italian border where you can reach by car in approximately 1h45 min the Lignano Sabbiadoro beach in Italy - picturesque nature, where you will relax during your stay. Bovec is a busy town overun by tourists looking for outdoor activities such as biking, rafting, canyoning, etc. The town itself is not very interesting: a central area with restaurants, cafes, and bad shops. Otherwise it seems like every house rents rooms and apparements. Bovec makes for a convenient base, but don't expect much from the town itself.

The Soča River is as amazingly turquoise/clear as I had seen...

The Soča River is as amazingly turquoise/clear as I had seen/read online! Whitewater rafted late April so got to do the upper section, passing the wide spot where the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian bridge scene was filmed, jumping from a bridge and by a cascade, and seeing the gorgeous Slap Boka ("mouth" waterfall), which we hiked up after rafting to see from an astounding viewpoint overlooking the lower cascades and looking up at the powerful falls. Hope to return for the lower canyon some summer and/or kayak, canyon, ebike. etc. Tons to do!

The property was located on the edge of Bovec village, just a short walk from the heart of the village and it's bars and cafes. The basics are covered - parking spaces, kitchen equipped with basic amenities and cookware, adequate bathroom faccilities. Everything was clean and well prepared. The instructions on how to get into the house and the key collection were clear and simple, and the host was responsive. Bovec is a beautiful village in the heart of Slovenia's mountains and a great base for an adventure!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, probably the best accommodation we've experienced in Slovenia. Very kind and courteous staff, with a very spacious and comfortable room in a great location. Nice and peaceful, the hotel also has a lot of character and charm as well as high quality facilities. Excellent breakfast too, especially the local cheese! We will definitely stay there again in future, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bovec.
