Quiet, peaceful area. The apartment is separated, comfortable, well equipped, it was ideal for the two of us. The air conditioning is especially useful since the apartment is in the attic. You get what you see in the pictures, no foul play. Parking is in front of the house. All our destinations were reachable within 1 - 1.5 hours (Izola+Piran, Vintgar Gorge+Bled, Prdejama castle, Vršič pass) Would have been useful for us: a small microwave, mosquito net.

Cerknica is nothing impressive, it has some charms of many other small Slovenian towns, but nothing to be especially remembered for. But as a start point for interesting and beautiful sightseeing and adventures it can be considered one of the best in (and not limited to) Slovenia.

We stayed for one night in the apartment during our bicycle tour. The check-in process was smooth and uncomplicated and we could store our bicycle in a secured place. The apartment was completely renovated, offering all the comforts and relaxation we required. Samo, our host, was exceptionally supportive and assisted us with any inquiries, even when we encountered difficulties during our bike tour hours after checking out. I really recommend this apartment to anyone and would not hesitate to book it again if we return to Cerknica.

Very nice, clean and comfortable apartament. Fully equipped ( Kettle/kitchen/coffee machine/ się condition/ TV...) Spacious balcony with great wiev. The host is a very nice and helpful person. My reservation was extremely "last minute/emergency" , but he response very quickly . Close to the market, restaurant, also good starting point to hike, bike, explore. I recommend this apartament and Cerknica

Run by the sweetest people, who make the most incredible food. Don't just arrive hungry to meals, arrive ravenous! And don't fill up on the first course, because there will be more, and more, and more! Such a peaceful location with lots of great hiking and interesting spots like castles, caves, and disappearing lakes. We fell in love with Slovenia here - can't recommend enough!

The location is beautiful and the staff were above and beyond wonderful, fun and lovely people. Remember this is fairly cheap accommodation in the wilderness so don't expect 5 star! But the atmosphere and people make it so much more special that a regular hotel. A wonderful stay while hiking.
